I’m Jules and I am 17.
I am a Year 12 student at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in London, with a growing passion for engineering, architecture, and all things design.
Fluent in both English and French, I’m currently studying Mathematics and Science + Computer Science —and always looking for ways to connect what I learn in class to real-world projects.
Outside the classroom, I love experimenting with tech. I’ve worked with VBScript and Python, learned the basics of HTML/CSS through school projects, and earned a PIX certification for digital literacy (https://pix.org/en/).
I even tried my hand at 3D design using Blender, which sparked my interest in architecture and design in the digital space.
I’m building this portfolio to showcase a collection of personal projects I’ve created in my free time—each one reflecting my passion for technology, design, and hands-on problem solving.
From coding to 3D modeling, these projects represent the skills I’m developing and the areas I’m most excited about exploring further.
One of the highlights is my Automated Bamboo Watering System, a irrigation setup designed to monitor soil moisture and optimize water usage for bamboo plants. I designed and 3D-modeled the components using Fusion 360, printed them with a Bambu Lab A1 3D printer, and programmed the system with Arduino to bring it all to life.
While I built it independently, I would occasionally reached out to my teachers for technical advice and guidance.
You’ll find this project and others right here—each one a step in my journey.
Whether I’m coding, climbing (V8 level), or volunteering for causes like 'Justice au Coeur', I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and a strong desire to grow.
Cheers!
Jules
